China’s grape growing area is vast in2012; the grape production in china is about9,000,000t, of whichabout80%of the grapes are used to make wine. Therefore, wine industry in china will produce amounts ofgrape residues, with about7%~10%of grape seed content. So china is rich in grape seed resources, whichis about750,000tons. A number of studies show that the oil content in grape seed is about8%~20%, whichcontains about90%of unsaturated fatty acid, what’s more, the linoleic acid content in oil is about75%, andso grape seed is a good kind of oil resources. So making use of grape seed oil is another direction of tresterutilization with great economic and social benefits.Grape seed (Hutai NO.8) were collected from wine residues, microwave-assisted extractiontechnology was applied for grape seed oil, and the contents of this research were divided into three parts:1.the conditions of grape seed oil were optimized by single factor using quadratic rotation-orthogonalcombination design, and quadratic regression equations were established. The optimum parameters ofextraction were found;2. Compared the physical and chemical properties of oil by microwave extractionand by traditional solvent extraction; the physical and chemical properties of oil were also compared withnational standards of grape seed oil;3. Fatty acid composition of refining grape seed oil was analyzed bygas chromatography (GC).The main results of this research were below:(1) Hexane was chose as the oil extraction solvent than others.(2) The impact of single factor was as followed: seeds-to-solvent ratio> microwave power> durationtime> extraction temperature.(3) The optimum parameters of extraction temperature was50℃, seeds-to-solvent ratio was1:11,duration time was23min and microwave power was700W. Under the optimum conditions, the extractionefficiency of grape seed oil was up to92.85%.(4) The advantage of the microwave extraction was relatively high extraction efficiency, the extractedoil was clear and colorless with special aroma.(5) The physical and chemical properties of refining oil were fit the national standards of grape seedoil.(6) The gas chromatography analysis showed that grape seed oil contained linoleic acid (73.70%),oleic acid (13.93%), palmitic acid (7.97%) and stearic acid (4.40%).
