Job satisfaction is an employee's general attitude from his job, which depends on employee's cognitive appraisal and emotional response to all aspects of his job. Improving employee job satisfaction can help increase customer satisfaction and performance. In this study, job satisfaction can be grouped into 6 dimensions, totally 37 items, which are relationships, work itself, career development, work environment, management rules and remuneration.Through 568 staff survey of a commercial bank in Shandong province, this study can get the following conclusions.First, in general, employee job satisfaction is in the medium level, and the overall difference is not significant. Employees are most satisfied with work itself, followed by work environment and interpersonal relationships; employees are most dissatisfied with career development, followed by remuneration and management rules.Second, employee job satisfaction differences between different levels are significant. High degree employees'job satisfaction is low, mainly due to the distance of reality and their expectations; employees in outlets have low satisfaction, and their remuneration, work environment, work atmosphere need to be improved; new employees' job satisfaction is relatively low, their career development and remuneration need to be improved.The conclusions have high practical value for the bank management. To further improve employee satisfaction, the bank should build a fair and reasonable remuneration system, improve staff career management, and create a harmonious working atmosphere.
