| With our industrialization and urbanization advancing swiftly in recent years, the. land demands for industry, public welfare undertakings and urban commerce increase dramatically, meanwhile, there are a lot of rural land requisitioned in peri-urban areas, which produces a huge number of land-lost peasants. Instead to enjoy the fruits of urban development, most of the land-lost peasants have difficulties feeling security of their long-term life, and even their fundamental interests are damaged. The general public pays more and more attention to the land-lost peasants for part of them is becoming a new vulnerable group of society.The article is written under the investigation of 5 villages by 180 questionnaires which we issued 180 questionnaire, received 175 questionnaires and 166 valid questionnaires and depth interviews which display the basic information of social security problem of land-lost peasants in Changsha suburban area. Guided by economy theories on land-lost peasants and based on the results of the investigation, the article focuses on analyzing the problems of social security system of land-lost peasants in Changsha, including the ambiguous body of landownership, the obscure content and scope of land expropriation, the unreasonable standard of expropriation compensation and unreasonable mechanism of distribution, the conception of political achievement and economic benefits to speed up the country of the peasants lost land, the unsound system of social security of land-lost peasants, and the difficulties in reemployment of land-lost peasants, etc. In order to reinforce and improve the social security system of land-lost peasants, the article aims to offer some countermeasures and suggestions, such as controlling the scope and procedure of land expropriation strictly, offering variety contents of social security, providing skill training for land-lost peasants, and establishing green employment channel for land-lost peasants. |
