A Study On Supply Chain Management In Dalian Zhiyuan Wood Industry

Dalian Zhiyuan Wood Industry was an export processing enterprise. Due to the global financial crisis in 2008, the enterprise has suffered great difficulty. In recent years, with the warming of the global economy, company has changed to target both exporting and domestic market. The enterprise has temporarily relieved from financial crisis, but it is still far away to achieve fast and stable development. This thesis systematically analyzes future opportunities and challenges in the enterprises, and then provides suggestion on its supply chain management (SCM).After the preliminary analysis and field visits, it is identified that serious problems on enterprise management, personnel training, logistics and supply chain management exist which include little understanding of SCM, instable production efficiency, disordered warehouse management, and lack of measures on modern logistics management. Such situation mainly results from the enterprise' low cost strategy, no basic SCM, instable surrounding market, out-of-order competition, high personnel mobility and no comprehensive market strategic objectives. Meanwhile, the global trade barriers have also greatly affected the enterprise'exporting market, which has further affect its profit expectations and prospects. In order to help companies find ways to solve these problems and propose ideas for future development, the thesis uses questionnaire, field research such as logistics companies to find out where question is. Mathematical modeling is used to identify the best business logistics and supply chain management solutions. Besides the enterprise's external supply chain, internal production and warehousing management, abroad Comparative Analysis, with combination of current world trade and promote low carbon green energy production in business development in the future to face opportunities and challenges. Put forward the development of countermeasures.Basing on the analysis methods and field research, application of theory and mathematical modeling, and supply chain management, strategic management, and warehouse management, green logistics concepts and theories of survey and analysis tools, make it possible to analysis on the proposed enterprise.Problems in management as a starting point for China's export and processing for tens of thousands of small and medium enterprises such as the development of the logistics supply chain research for solution.
