As a human resources management tools,the Competence model are attached great importance by business and theorists rapidly. Especially in recent years, many enterprises imitate the well-known corporation to build the competence model, including its application and maintenance,one after another, and they try to use the model to help businesses getting rid of difficulties and making for success. Nevertheless,the Hotel industry initiate to study and apply this model later,so,the blind use of the competence model will inevitably lead to all kinds of problems. Therefore, establishing a suitable competence model for hotel by a scientific and effective method, then gradually appling to the hotel human resources recruitment, selection, remuneration,performance measurement and other areas,it is necessary to ensure the human resource management system developing efficiently and orderly.The articles firstly set up the Hotel front-line executives and the management of the competence model with questionnaires,behavioral event interviews and other researth methods, after summing up the research and application about the model and talent assessment of the domestic and international.It is analyses the quality of human resources structure inallusion to specific industry environment and business environment.Actually,it provides a scientific and effective management tool for the human resource management after the application to the hotel personnel recruitment, selection,performance appraisal and the other management areas.Firstly, the thesis analyzes the basis of the background, objectives and research significance,and summarizes the domestic and international competence models and talent assessment of the developing status and trends.Based on the past applications and research experience,the major research methods and content are put forward,and its research framework and system is formed.Secondly, correlated conception and theories are introduced,including the quality .competence modle and the talent assessment.lt analyzes the elements and structure of competence model.and introduces the famous iceberg competence model and competence model of onions.In the following, the theory of individual differences,the human nature, the match between human and post of talent assessment are brought forward,then it expounded the relevant technical theories and the principles of talent assessmenThirdly,on the one hand,the thesis analyzes the current situation and the problems exist of the hotel talent assessment;on the other hand,it elaborates some talent evaluation measures of most application currently,such as"Five Personality Model", "MBTI","16PF", "EPQ"and so on.And then, the thesis compares them with each other. On the basis of the analysis,it ultimately dicusses the remarkable characteristic of the method which is based on the competence model.Fourthly,the background and condications are analyzed in paper, whether it can build the competence model of any Hotel in JiangSu Province.Afterwards.it explains the main points of the model construction and determines the performance standards by the Balanced Scorecard methodology together with expert interviews.And,it uses the three-dimensional method to conform the weight, establishes key permormance indicators and the index system of competence model.On the analysisi of the SPSS statistical analysis software,finally,it sets up the hotel front-line executives employees and management staff model, furthermore,it validates and improves this model later.After that,the thesis described the model's application in hotel talent assessment, according the personnel recruitment and selection based the model, personnel performance evaluation and feedback to the staff training.In order to make the process successfully,it also proposes the safeguards in three aspects,for one thing,analyzed the hotel strategic culture;for another thing,founded the supporting system of the human resources,lastly,established the model dynamic management system.The final analysis is the effects which putting this model into use at the hotel, mostly about the reliability analysis and validity analysis, in conclusion,it verifies the reliability and validity of the competence model in the application of hotel talent assessment.
