The concept of project management was introduced to China since the early 20th century,80 years, because of its advanced management ideas and management models, intense and dynamic market in the current competitive environment, effectively improving the management capacity of enterprises to meet the evolving rapidly recognized and widely used in practice, has received very good results. But people's understanding of project management generally concentrated in the construction of the engineering construction project management to a large extent limited the scope of application of project management, constrained its development. In the current communication business management, and actively introduce and strengthen project management, which for the immediate development of telecommunications companies with strong guidance in theory significance and practical application value. Major clients, often referred to as the core customer, the concept were used in the 20th century,70 years in the computer manufacturing industry in United States, Britain and Japan. With the development of market economy, the concept began to widely use in various trades. This paper, is trying to combine the project management theory and marketing strategy for major clients, and establish a comprehensive and efficient system of core customer project management for communications enterprises. Also, through case analysis, the new system is used in practice, enabling enterprises to focus all their own kinds of resources, relying on the value of great customer support for enterprise value, so as to achieve the purpose of improving corporate profits.This paper applies the literature research, case studies and other research methods. First, in the current international and domestic project management and communications related to project management theory development based on the analysis to explore the domestic and international project management theory, research and application of the status quo, development trend of communications companies for the establishment of major clients, project management system has been laid foundation. Second, the combination of modern project management, content requirements, through analysis of a major customer communications feature of the project, tries to build a large customer projects for telecommunications companies project management model. Finally, through case studies, this model will be applied to practical, detailed project implementation process of various control elements, analysis of experience in implementation of the project for the establishment of a complete project management system for large customer management model to implement the recommendations put forward.The innovation of this paper is that the big customer marketing strategy and project management combined business of China's telecommunications operators to build a more complete project management system for large customers, to better serve high-value customers with personalized service, and effectively improve Great customer satisfaction and loyalty, to attract and retain more large customers, and ultimately improve corporate profits.Telecommunications enterprises to implement the core customer project management will change its business management. The research on this question has important research significance.
