Studies On The Social Responsibility Of China Private Enterprises In Transition Period

As a socio-economic cell, enterprise should bear the associated social responsibility while pursuing the corporate profit, and the private enterprise is of no exception. China is currently transforming from a planned economy to a market economy, the lack of social responsibility in private enterprise has been causing serious consequences. To ensure the healthy development of private enterprises, we must make great efforts on building the social responsibility system of the private enterprise.Based on the theoretical research and case studies, this paper firstly introduced and sorted out the theory of corporate social responsibility, and then described and analyzed the status quo of the Chinese private enterprises fulfilling their social responsibility in the transition period. Finally, it put forward solutions and strategies on urging private enterprise to fulfill the social responsibility from the perspective of the private enterprise itself, the government, and the society. At the end of this paper, there is a case study on the successful fulfilling of corporate social responsibility of Fosun Pharma. The line of this paper is to identify the problem --- to analyze the problem --- to solve the problem.The main purpose of this paper is to have a systematic analysis on the corporate responsibility of the private enterprises, which includes the analysis of the status quo of the social responsibility of private enterprises, the main cause of the lack of social responsibility, and strategies to resolve this issue. It is also expected that this paper can provide a reference and guidance to the healthy development of the private enterprise, in order to enhance the competitiveness of the private enterprise in the global market.
