Nowadays Science and Technology play a increasingly prominent role in the market, and The keys for a company as well as an industry to obtain solide foundation are Reasearch & development (R&D) and the commercialization of the new product.In textiles and clothing China is a big, but not strong country. Improvement in the competitiveness of products and product value by scientific and technological innovation is necessary for occupying the high-end of the value chain. Therefore, the study on new product development commercialization factors, objective assessment of the degree of commercialization of new products for the textile and garment industry to improve the overall strength and to promote the sustainable development of textile and garment industry has important practical significance.Te main content as follows:①On the background of textile and apparel new products'R&D, in this paper the significance and study methods are proposed. Related concepts on new products'R&D commercialization of textile and apparel are defined.②The study introduces general situation of new products'R&D commercialization both at home and abroad, supplemented by case studies. Based on the theoretical foundation of performance assessment model, this paper uses CSF (Critical Success Factors), Delphi Method, the entropy weight method as well as mathical methods on indicators filtering to propose a structial frame for the assesement model.③Construction the indicators system of new products'R&D commercialization in textile and apparel:a. Through literature studies and expert advice theoretical method, initially established with 48 indicators of the primary indicators of system, and this questionnaire was designed;b. Through in-depth expert interviews and questionnaire survey, using the Delphi Method, coefficient of variation method, the correlation coefficient method and principal component analysis to select 22 key indicators from the initial 48 indicators, constructing a key indicator system on new products'R&D commercialization in textile and appreal;c. The data is abtained by 5 scale inventory and the objective weight is determinded by the entropy weight method. The objective weight of the key indicators are settled down by experts consulation. The combination of the subjective and objective weights gives each key indicators its'final weight. ④Combining the determined weights and the Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation, the new product R&D commercialization assessment model is established. The study gives L Company as an example. Through in-depth investigation and practice, relevant information on L Company is collected and analytical model is proposed. The results of commercialization assessment indicators are explained one by one and suggestions for improvement are put forward.Through the commercialization assessment model of New Products' R&D of textile and apparel, the study aims to probe the methods how to evaluate the commercialization of new product development. Hopefully it is of significant reference value for decision making of the enterprise management.
