Liaoning is one of the largest textile and clothes producer and exporter in China. One of the main traditional industries of Liaoning is manufacture and export trade of textile and clothes. In international competition market, Liaoning is facing a significant opportunity in textile and clothes, along with the global economic revive, especially in U.S. and EU. Meanwhile, it makes a big challenge for China's labor intensive industry that Southeast Asia countries, such as India and Pakistan have made progress in textile and clothes industry. This paper focuses on the research on the competitive strategy of textile and clothes in international market. It analyzes the political, economic, social and cultural circumstances of textile and clothes, puts forward the competitive edge and problem existed in international market, figures out relative strategic recommendation in three aspects of government, enterprise and sector, and provides supporting measures accordingly.The paper analyzes the international competition status of Liaoning textile and clothes market in environment and current situation according to the research results on strategic management and marketing. It proposes the strategies to improve international competition and related supporting measures, which provides efficient suggestions to increase international market competition in textile and clothes products.The first part of the dissertation illuminates the background and significance of the research topic. The second part gives an integrated statement of the international market environment from four aspects, including politics, economy, society and techniques, and puts forward opportunities and threats in international competition. The third part presents an objective analysis to the current status of textile and clothes competition in international market, and estimates advantages and disadvantages of Liaoning textile and clothes products when it takes part in international market. The fourth part comes up with strategies to improve competition of Liaoning textile and clothes, combined with current situation and problems. The fifth part puts provides related supporting measures according to the strategies.
