In recent decades, the problems of fossil energy shortage and global warming have become increasingly severe.As the wave of low-carbon economy is coming so furious, In order to get rid of dependence on fossil fuels, reduce the environmental impact of fossil fuels, and to obtain advantages in global competiotion, the research and application on renewable energy such as PV technology have become the focus of world's attention. Driven by the PV market overseas, China's PV industry had experienced a rapid development since 2004. However, China's PV industry is facing lots of confusion and difficulties hidden behind of the booming trend of development.China's PV industry is a very large and complex system. Market demand, policies promotion and technological progress areplaying the role of the external driving force, while complex competition and coordination mechanisms is existing inside the industry. To develope PV industry has largely reached a consensus, but how to explore the rule of industry evolution; how to understand the systemic characterristics of China's PV industry and how to estabilish industry strategies and policies, these issures still need further study.In this paper, the theory of system science is used to analyse the systemic features of China's PV industry. In order to promote the industry's growth, this paper studies on the driving force of evolution of China's PV industry and presents a system evolution model. Logistic curve is used to described the process and stages of industry evolution and real statistics is used to fit the track. Development strategies and policy recommendations is givin in the end to expand the depth of evolution research and make the policy-making more scientific in practice.
