Energy has a decisive influence on the world economy and international politics. The competition for energy is one. Oil. known as "black gold" and "blood", has an essential role in industrial development. Because of the characteristics of scarcity, non-renewable and imbalanced distribution oil has, controlling oil resources has become the economic, political, and diplomatic focus among the great powers in the 21st century. At present, our domestic oil resources and production capacity, obviously cannot meet the economic development of China's energy demand. The oil supply and demand gap increases every year, and the risk of oil security becomes more apparently. In order to call on the concern from the all sides, this paper tries to define what the oil security is, and analyzes the present situation of China's oil security. According to drawing lessons from the advanced foreign management experience, the author investigates some feasibility strategies to ensure China's oil security.This thesis is divided into six chapters. The first chapter is the introduction which introduces the background, the purpose to write, the theories to use and the contents of research. The second chapter defines what the oil security in the changing world is. The third chapter analyses the present situation of China's oil security. From the perspective of the comparative politics, combing the unique situation in our country and the situation of oil security, the fourth chapter investigates some feasibility strategies to ensure China's oil security. The fifth chapter goes further, which is the analysis of the strategic measures mentioned in the fourth chapter, and proposes further complementary measures. The sixth chapter is the conclusion, which summarizes the short-term measures and long-term energy strategic choices in order to ensure China's oil security and energy strategy in the 21st century.
