Employment is not only an important economic issue, but also a significant political issue because it relates to the security and stability of a country as well as the long-term peace of society. The employment issue is a theoretical problem, and more important it is a major practical problem. Since China's reform and opening up, accompanied by the transformation of economy, the total amount of employment is large, contradiction becomes extremely complex, therefore employment has become one of the biggest social and livelihood issue in contemporary China. Once handled improperly, it will affect people's livelihood and social stability, political stability. If we want to handle the conflicts and problems well in the process of employment, we should rely on the increasingly market mechanisms and the push of government forces in practice. Besides, we can't do it without the support of the corresponding theoretical basis in the principle. Therefore, it is very necessary for us to aim at the theoretical research of employment system.As a socialist country guiding by the ideology of Marxism, we should evaluate the employment theory of Marxism realistically and study China's employment system of evolution theory and current situation from Marxist employment system's perspective. It has a very important theoretical value and practical significance to instruct the employment practice of our country's socialism and solve the current employment contradiction.By reviewing the Marxist employment theory and the theorists' present research, the author proposes that the Marx's employment theory is facing some new challenges. At present, under the background of the development of knowledge and economy, the author gives reference on theoretical perspectives and construction ideas about how to grasp the Marxist theory of employment correctly and how to bring forth new ideas about employment system according to the new situation and new problems of employment occurred in economic development.Based on the primary stage of socialism in China and present China's development characteristics, from the Marxism employment theory perspective, this paper has reviewed the reform and development of China's employment system, summarized experience during the process of reform and development, studied the employment system in China from multi-angles, finally proposed some suggestions about China's employment system during economic transition. In this way, the author tries to make the Chinese employment system systematic and logical.By summarizing the previous research results and applying basic theories and methods of political science, economics and other subjects, this paper not only focuses on the development of China's employment system from macro analysis but also pays attention to the paths and experience of employment system from microscopic analysis. By sorting out the Marxist employment theory, we can understand it from a new perspective in order to study the change of China's employment system since the foundation of our country. At the same time according to the reality of China's employment, we should fully absorb the reform and development experience in China's employment system and carry on the necessary theoretical innovation.
