Study On The Interaction Between Regional Human Capital And Industrial Structure Adjustment In Hebei Province

Human capital and industrial structure affect the development of local economy deeply. As the sole motile entity in economic practice, human capital is one of the decisive factors which affect economic development. As Information Age draws near, the role of human capital in production is getting more and more important, it becomes the core productive factor which takes instead of some traditional ones, such as land and material capital. On the other hand, industrial structure reflects the capability to allocate and transact resources in local economy. As two subjects of economics research, human capital is intimately connected with industrial structure adjustment. They are all important subjects in economics. Human capital plays an important role in industrial structure adjustment, at the same time, industrial structure adjustment also stimulates the promotion of human capital. The research on the interactive relation between them is very important in theory and practice for the sake of the deep meaning of inspiring economic practice.The paper takes aim at interactive relation between local human capital and industrial structure by integrating normative analysis with empirical analysis, qualitative with quantitative analysis, static analysis with dynamic analysis on the basis of theories concerning human capital, industrial structure adjustment and so on. The route of research is the pattern"theory-present situation- empirical analysis-countermeasure". Firstly, the paper begins with the theoretical analysis of the interactive relation between human capital and industrial structure adjustment, then the present situation of human capital and industrial structure adjustment and the interactive relation between them in Hebei province are researched in detail, on the results above, the empirical analysis concerning the relation between human capital level and industrial structure adjustment of Hebei province is conducted by Co integration and Error Correction Model (ECM), thus the conclusion is drawn that long-term stable relationship exists between them in Hebei Province. Finally the countermeasures are advanced which aims at spurring beneficial interaction between human capital level and industrial structure adjustment of Hebei province according to the results of normative analysis and empirical analysis. So the macroeconomic practice can be inspired by it.
