Research On The Dynamic Factors Of The Development Of Nanjing High-tech Development Zone

With the development of economic globalization and the knowledge economy, science and technology plays an increasingly important role in the world's economic and social development. In this context, the construction of high-tech development zones becomes a surging global trend, and it also becomes a strategic choice of its implementation for promoting the high-tech industrial development and enhancing the competitiveness of countries and regions. Nanjing High-tech Development Zone was founded in 1988.And it had achieved fruitful results in promoting the industrialization of high-tech and providing innovative entrepreneurial environment. But compared with the domestic advanced cities, there is a big gap and a certain non - Harmony notes, such as the irrational industrial structure, not high value-added high-tech industries. Therefore, studying the restricting development dynamic factors of Nanjing Hi-tech Development Zone is particularly necessary.Based on the status quo of the development of Nanjing Hi-tech Development Zone, this article explored the success or failure of the relevant factors of the development of high-tech Development Zone to determine the dynamic factors in the development of Nanjing Hi-tech Development Zone.This paper argues that the dynamic factors which promote the development of Nanjing Hi-tech Development Zone are neither single nor isolated, but interact within a dynamic system. The factors mainly include regional environment, market demand, government-driven, technological innovation, industrial clusters and many other factors. Moreover, these factors alone are not acting on the high-tech zones, but a multi-factor interaction of the power system. According to the different ways these factors affecting the development of high-tech zones, dynamic factors are divided into external and internal power factors, of which external motivation factors including regional environment, market demand and government-driven and internal power factors including technological innovation and industrial clusters. And each of these five dynamic factors was used to construct the causal loop diagram separately. On the base of former five subsystems, this paper constructed the development of Nanjing hi-tech development zone causal loop diagram and carried on simulation of the model by using of Nanjing high-tech development zone data over the past decade including technology, industry and trade revenue, taxation, science and technology inputs, infrastructure investment, the number of scientists, number of patents, government financial input, as well as GDP and other data.The conclusion is that government-driven, technological innovation and industrial cluster has an strong impact on the development of Nanjing high-tech development zone,social demand more general,while regional environment has weak impact on the development of Nanjing high-tech development zone. Then this paper proposed appropriate policy and recommendations to increase the development of Nanjing high-tech development zone.
