Research enterprise K ,founded in 1960s, is a state-owned enterprise with a large number of subordinate enterprises. It has more than 6,000 employees. Because of fierce competition in the market In the current, it becomes more and more difficult for the development of the enterprises. It is necessary for a company to develop career management in order to remain strong in the market. For employees, it can increase their loyalty and security; to the enterprise, it can improve the competitiveness and its stability.Research enterprise K is a research object in this paper. By using the method of questionnaires, literature review and other methods, on the foundation of surveying and analyzing of the present human resource management of research enterprise K, the paper explains the relationship between the development of the enterprise and individual employees. It also explains the methods and steps of the career management which is used by research enterprise K to its employees. Secondly, the paper introduces the present human resource of research enterprise K , raises measures to the improvement of the inadequacy in the present human resources, analyses career management design principles of research enterprise K. Finally, the paper summarizes career management supporting measures of research enterprise K, the insufficiency of this paper and the future research suggestion.By the career management research of research enterprise K, the author found the following effectiveness of career management: it can improve work motivation and work efficiency of the staff, reduce separation rate of the the staff, reduce the confusion in the career path of the staff, at the same time, it can make the staff integrate into the organization and determine their own goals faster; also, it can improve beneficial result of the organization, improve its innovation capability and activeness in the market. So, it can make common progress of the organization and the individual.The innovation of this paper is the using of professional mentoring in the enterprise and explains how to use in detail, it can be used to other medim-sized enterprises'career management for reference.
