Research Of Strategy Implementation By Project Portfolio Management

With the social and economic development, enterprises are facing external business environment has undergone significant changes. Any enterprise, regardless of what product or what the production service, we need to adapt to this changing business environment, to seek long-term survival and continued development. Strategic management and project management as an effective means to cope with change is adopted by more and more enterprises, the strategic directions for enterprise development, and the project will become the carrier of implementation of the strategy to promote the development of enterprises.However, with increasing number of projects in the enterprise, companies are also facing a new problem: how to ensure these projects consistent with the goals of enterprise development strategies and to effectively implement business strategy; enterprises face a number of projects in the context of limited resources how to organize and manage multiple projects. People in the study on the issues rose on the basis of the idea of Project Portfolio Management(PPM). This paper constructs a theoretical basis for portfolio management system, and use of the theoretical system of the enterprise implementation of the strategy to solve the problem.Firstly, the Project Portfolio Management(PPM) background to research, discusses the strategies, projects and business development, and analyzes the strategic management and project management in the enterprise to manage multiple projects when faced with problems of enterprise PPM so as to come the need for management.Secondly, the concept of PPM has been defined and characteristic analysis, and based on the analysis of portfolio management and project management of the distinction and connection.Next, we suggest a framework of PPM from two aspects: organizational support and information to support, building a set of basic theory of PPM framework. Through the theoretical framework, to ensure corporate strategic objectives, ensure that the project, consistency of strategy and resource allocation.At last, we construct the model of strategy implementation based on the theory of basic model, the adoption of the model, the enterprise project portfolio to become the carrier of the implementation of corporate strategy, strategic implementation of the control into the PPM and control, strategy implementation issues into the project portfolio management, the implementation of the strategy to solve difficult business problems. In addition, the paper also an example in a domestic enterprise project portfolio management based on the implementation of corporate strategy for the empirical analysis, focusing on the development strategy of the enterprise application portfolio management theory on how to implement, control and implementation, to address the development of the enterprise difficult to achieve the strategic objectives of the existence of the problem.
