Training Needs Analysis (TNA), the first fundamental and instructive step of training activities, is the decisive factor of the success of training. According to the literature, domestic study of TNA presently focuses on macro theories, which turns out a vacancy in study of operational tools and models. The author conducted a micro-level empirical analysis on Company A which is a well-managed and well-training- implemented company, and found the problem existed in Company A based on the study of its TNA and employee training satisfaction. The author proposed a TNA Model for Chinese enterprises base on foreign one. This model is expected not only to help build an applicable solution of TNA for company A, but also to be a guideline and reference of TNA for other companies in China. Besides, the model proposed might help Chinese companies distinguish effective training needs and make training activities more specific and ahead of time.The author analyzed Company A in terms of existing state of training actives, TNA methods and procedures, employee training satisfaction and effectiveness analysis of training activities, with the methods such as literature analysis, questionnaire investigation, face to face interview and group discussion. The author also found out existing related problems of company A in terms of TNA methods, procedures and contents. Meanwhile, the author proposed an idea of how to build a TNA model and the Model shows followings:"Organizational Support"is critical in TNA process. Organizational support includes high level support, member support and system support.Organization level TNA must be conducted in four aspects as organization objective, resource, atmosphere and external environment. Key factors must be chosen to be studied in each aspect.Task level TNA should focus on analysis of both job responsibility and job requirements, as well as refining of training needs factors. Importance of needs, difficulty of learning and execution frequency has much influence on the application of training. The priority of training contents is decided by importance of needs and proficiency of practitioner.Individual level TNA should evaluate both individual performance and skill state, and analysis both current and future difference, for the purpose of integration of...
