Managing compensation is an important section of human resources management. The pay is a process more than a result. The distribution mode, basis and result will affect the employees greatly. Compensation system can make the employees to work hard, or to be lazy.Xiamen Airlines is a middle size aviation enterprise, which has its particular compensation system. This paper analyses the rationality of the Xiamen Airlines'compensation system, and concludes that the pay dispersion of job clusters accords with the basic compensation policy of internal consistency, while the pay dispersion of same jobs is illogical. This paper also puts forward some suggestions to improve it, on the basis of the principles of compensation system.First, this paper introduces the model of compensation system, summarizes the strategy, skills and theme of compensation system, briefly introduces the key technologies, such as job analysis, job evaluation, etc.Secondly, this paper analyzes the characters of Xiamen Airlines'internal payment structures and the result of Employee Satisfaction Degree inquiry, and points out the insufficiency of Xiamen Airlines'compensation system.Some suggestions to improve the Xiamen Airlines'compensation system are put forward in the paper.
