Study On Driving Mechanism Of The Urban Land Expansion And The Returns To Urban Land Scale

In new century, China is in the speeding process of the industrialization, the urbanization and the modernization. Cities are often compared to the engine of regional economy and have played an important part in the local economy. However, the developing of cities are often following with urban land expanding. Urban land use determines the quality of urban economy. Therefore, there is vital practical significance to study the driving mechanism of the urban land expansion and the return to land scale.This article mainly includes following five parts:Firstly, drafts the scheme of this article based on studying the predecessor research achievements.Secondly, constructs the driving mechanism frame of urban land expansion, analyses influencing factors of driving force.Thirdly, puts forward the concept of the returns to urban land scale, analyzes the reasons and the conditions which come into being as well as the influence factors, and establishes a theoretical model.Fourthly, combines with the demonstration data, studies driving mechanism of urban land expansion in the Hubei Province, establishes the model which measures the returns to urban land scale, analyses the results of the model which is estimated.Lastly, draws conclusions according to former s tudy, analyses the flaws of this research and proposes the improvement thoughts.
