Spatial Analysis And Document Management Of Mineral Resources MIS Of Alxa

There are abundant mineral resources in Alxa. The domanial bureau of Alxa administers those resources and has many pictures and documents. It is very necessary to design and develop the system of Alxa for effectively managing of the mineral resources and improving work efficiency.SuperMap Objects 5 and Visual Basic were chosen for the development of the mineral resources MIS of Alxa. Using this system, users can manage the data of mineral resources, query spatial information and attributive character. In addition, the system achieves the functions of spatial analysis and document management about mineral resources.Technics, aims, data analysis and designs of holistic function, material function, system menu and user interface are dissertated in this thesis. The emphases of the thesis are the design and accomplishment of user interface ,documents management of mineral resources and spatial analysis.ActiveBar control was used to design and develop the user interface. From the point of hiberarchy of ActiveBar, the thesis introduces the properties and functions of ActiveBar control. With the representation of spatial analysis, this thesis introduces the way of using SuperMap Objects 5 to achieve the specifically function. In addition, for the management of the documents, the thesis mainly expatiates the way of new, examination, edit, print and saving of the daily documents.Based on SuperMap Objects 5, the development of the mineral resources MIS of Alxa will lay a foundation of utilization and management of mineral resources of Alxa.
