The main purpose of this thesis was designing and realizing the assistant analysis system for land use structure and industrial structure, applying software development tools and GIS technique, and studying on the land use structure and industrial structure of lengshuijiang, a resource type city of human, by using the assistant analysis system.In this thesis, the development of an assistant analysis system based on GIS and Input-Output Model was realized, under the foundation of the system requirement analysis and modeling, the system integral framework design, the functional module design, the database design, with theory and methods of software engineering. By using object-oriented and component technology method, the system was developed in the development environment of Visual Basic 6.0. The software of SuperMap Objects 2003 was applied to realize the function about GIS. The software of Microsoft Access 2000 was applied to save and manage data.The system was provided with function of workspace, data and map management, object operation, spatial query and analysis in the environment of GIS. It can input and output data about Input-Output, and create Input-Output table, direct consuming coefficient table, and complete consuming coefficient table by computation.The conceptional model, the logistic model, the physical model of the data were established in the process of designing and development of the assistant analysis system. The spatial data was saved as the file format of "SDB" of SuperMap. The attribute data of the dataset as point, line, region, text was saved as the file format of "SDD" of SuperMap. The attribute data about Input-Output Model was saved as the file format of Microsoft Access 2000.The relationship between the file of "SDB" and the "SDD" was created by the systemic field of "SMID".The thesis took Lengshuijiang as an example. The author tested the feasibility of the system developed and demonstrated the thought and method about applying GIS and Input-Output model in the research of land use and industrial structure. It can get conclusion through the analysis of current situation of land use structure that Lengshuijiang has the followed characteristics and problems in land use structure.1. The area of industrial mining was large, while their distribution was scattered.2. City-town situation was distributed interlaced.3. Waste land area was huge and it has great potential to be restored.4.
