The Global Value Chain Theory And The Investment And Financing Study About The Resource-Based Industries In The Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region

A resource-based industry is a unique category of industries characterized by dependent on resources intensively, orient from geography extensively, and is highly influenced by macroeconomic policy. As far as a specific region is concerned, the resource-based industries have deep impact on regional economic development. As happened in the history, because of the depletion of resources, it led to the corresponding resource-based industries to recess and further led to the region's economic recession. Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region as a resource abundant area, it is imperative to take measures to hedge against such negative impact. We have sought to solve this problem by the way of sustainable development. The resource-based industry that expands toward sustainable development will inevitably involves in investment and financing, especially on the direction of investment options.In this paper, the author use the global value chain theory analyze the resource-based industries of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region thoroughly, Then pinpoint its position on the value chain and the current phase of the investment and financing features and at the same time found its problems. After that adduce some solution for it from a global value chain perspective and propose some suggestion that on behalf of government how to provide relevant supportive measures for resource-based industries from the aspect of promoting the healthy development of the regional economy in harmony way and support the development of related industries. In view of development for resource-based industries in a heath and orderly way, provide a new approach for the sustainable development of recourse-based industry.
