| Along with the economic globalization, the competition among enterprises all over the world is more furious. The enterprises have to face more crises, among which the crisis of brain drain is worthy of special. The competition of enterprises is based on the competition for talents. Under the background of the knowledge-based economy, an enterprise must obtain and retain the talents if it wants to strengthen its core competitiveness and cohesive force. Though the enterprises have already realized the importance of talents, the reality is by no means optimistic. On one hand, enterprises keep recruiting. On the other hand, there are a great number of talents leaving their posts. As a result, enterprises suffer a great loss. So how to decrease the loss which results from brain drain has become the managers' primary concern. There is no complete systematic theory on crisis management of brain drain at home, so this thesis tries to establish an effective crisis management of brain drain. This thesis consists of five chapters. The first chapter mainly explains the background and significance of this research and introduces the organization of this thesis. The second chapter is literature review, which explains the crisis and the crisis management, compares the difference between flow of talents and brain drain, and discusses what kind of brain drain will lead to crises. The third chapter concerns the present-day phenomenon of brain drain at first. Then, it concludes the characteristics, direction and negative influence of brain drain. Finally, it points out the problems existing in the present-day management of brain drain and highlights the necessity of establishing a system of crisis management of brain drain. The fourth chapter is the core part, which, starting from the research purposes, tries to construct a system of crisis management in three stages: the fore-warning, treatment, recovery. It hopes that this system can satisfy the needs of enterprises, prevent brain drain and reduce the loss of it. The fifth chapter is a conclusion, which sounds a warning for enterprises to implement the system of crisis management of brain drain. |
