In the new economy, since knowledge becomes a key capital, knowledge workers become the most important resource in enterprises. But when the company does not satisfy their needs, they feel no enthusiasm for work. Therefore, it's significant for the enterprises to find out their demands and arouse their enthusiasm, which has become the focus problem concerned by the human resource management department and the scholars. This paper is aimed to discover the needs of the knowledge worker at Pudong developoment Bank Changsha Sub-Bank and give some advices to improve the motivation system.Many researchers at home and abroad have studied this subject and achieved a lot. On the basis of these results, we suppose that there are four stimulating factors.Affecting the performance of the workers that is, salary self- development, achievement, which are sorted into two classes. To prove the hypothesis, we have investigated 170 workers with different education levels at Pudong development Bank Changsha Sub-Bank, from those graduated from technical secondary school to postgraduate. At the same time, we have collected many data. After analyzing these data and testifying the correlation between them, we find out the character of the needs of knowledge workers. First, the stimulating extent of the four factors is different among workers of different education levels. Second, motivation factors of the same kind are correlated remarkably. Third, worker so high education levels have high expectation. Accordingly, we put forward some suggestions to satisfy the demands of the knowledge workers. First of all, we should design a competitive salary system. And we should combine all the motivation factors to achieve the utmost. What's more, we should make the best use of the super ego motivation factors.
