Research On Choosing The Reverse Logistics's Mode Of End-Of-Life Appliances

To most companies,it is already a great challenge to act best in forward logistics practices. Thus, it's quite normal that not so many companies are willing to put their heart into the challenge of reverse logistics. However, driven by the increasing number of used products, higher requirement from customer service, the advent of new environmental laws and regulations, as well as the pursuit of maximum utilization and highest efficiency, companies have to retook this relatively new area. Through the considerations of the opportunities and potentials in this area, companies may achieve some advantage against their competitors.Research of this thesis is based upon the above mentioned. Set up the mode of Reverse logistics for electrical appliances industries. The article first introduced the implementation and the development situation of Reverse logistics and end-of-life appliances Reverse logistics at home and abroad, review the basic theory of logistics,economical circulation and sustainable development, as well as the literature of the life cycle of production. Then analyzed the characteristics and conditions of three operation models, and made a comparison between these modes. Using the ANP to set up the mode of Reverse logistics. At last make use of the model to one company, obtain the mode of Reverse logistics'operation to be suitable for the company to handle end-of-life appliances.
