Econometric Research On The Major Factors Of Economic Growth Of Guangdong Industry

Under the new economic situation there are kinds of factors that influence the economic growth of industry. Firstly, this paper seizes major relative factors and puts the theory of economic growth into industry field and makes ration research on the major factors which influence the economic growth of Guangdong industry with the latest econometric method. Through the research of 1985-2004 Guangdong industry I find physical capital input labor input human capital input international trade and energy have played important roles in Guangdong industry's take-off. There are five long-term equilibriums between every one of the five factors and industry growth. I also get out the corresponding contribution ratios of five factors.Secondly, based on the former research I make deep analysis of the relations between energy and Guangdong industry separately. The research result indicates that energy plays more and more important roles in Guangdong industry. At last I put forward some constructive suggestions in reason combining with the actual instance of Guangdong energy, which may be used by the government of Guangdong province to set down macroeconomic policy and instruct the run of industry.
