Research On The Changes Of Labor-capital Relations After The Reform Of State-owned Enterprises

Nowadays social transition has been taken place in China, of which the most important performance is that the economic system is undergoing tremendous transformation from planned economy to socialist market economy. Against this background, there have been inevitably many discrepancies in the labor-capital relations at different period of the reform of state-owned enterprises, and workers are marching toward market under the situation of general adoption of market principle. However, the composition of labor-capital relations will also be transformed during this process. With the deepening development of the reform of China's economic system and establishment of socialist market economic system, China's labor market will be further standardized and institutionalize, while the problems and conflicts concealed in the former labor-capital relations are growing increasingly outstanding.Taking the N city in central Fujian province as a case, combing the quantitative and qualitative method, applying the theories of labor-capital relations of Marxism, conflict and structural functionalism, the thesis analyzes the status quo of labor-capital relations before and after the reform of state-owned enterprises, the types of the enterprises after the reform and their characteristics of labor-capital relations and compares them. Through analyzing historical evolution of labor-capital relations in western countries, the thesis draws a conclusion that the main development trend of labor-capital relations is from conflict to cooperation.
