Private economy of China now is the new ingredient after the Reform andOpening up, after30years of development, it has been developed rapidly both inscale and quantity. The rapid development of private economy made a greatcontribution on China’s economic and social development. Along with the deepeningof economic reform and the promoting of industrial restructuring in China’s, therewill be more and more labors work in private enterprises, labor-capital relations inprivate enterprises have become to be one of the most basic and important socialrelationships in China. At present contradictions between labors and capital inprivate enterprises appear increasingly tense, these are harmful both to the healthydevelopment of the enterprises and the harmony of our society. So to buildharmonious labor relations are significant.Labor-capital relations of Marx are the important parts of Marxist politicaleconomy they laid a solid theoretical foundation for the studding of labor relationsin private enterprises. The development of labor-capital relations of Marx can bedivided into three phases roughly, they began from early1940s of the19th century.From late1840s to the early1960s,was the stage of development, and the advent ofVolume I of "Das Kapital"in1867, marked the mature of this theory. The oppositionof capital and labors is the Core contents, including:the nature of capitalism’labor-capital relations is capital exploitative labors, capitalists is the personificationof capital, capital dominate and force labor in the process of capitalist production.Meanwhile, Marx also thought that labor and capital as the main factor ofproduction of capitalist society, only when they cooperated effectively, couldpromote the development of social prolificacy, so they must be unity.Now in China, the owners occupy all materials of production, they hire laborsto work, and occupy surplus value created by workers. So the labor relationsbetween labors and capital in private enterprises are antithetical. But, the privateenterprises in China now are produced under socialist conditions, they have new features: the antithesis only exists inside the private enterprises and under theconditions of the equality political status.With the development of western capitalist countries, they keep working oneasing the conflicts between labors and capital; they have Obtained effectiveness oflegislating, labor unions, employee incentive tripartite coordination and humanresource management. When referencing them, we should make a judge usingLabor-capital relations of MarxNow there are four main questions in the labor-capital relations of China’private enterprises, the weakening of the labor contract, lack of necessary laborprotection measures, lower and unpaid wages, Low coverage of labor and socialsecurity and overload work. Materials of production owned by the owners are theroot. The other reason including: Laws and regulations are inadequate; Governmentsupervision imperfect; The function of grass-roots unions are weaken; Imbalance ofsupply and demand in the labor market; Lack the awareness of rights protection;Malpractice in the manage of family enterprise. To solve the problems above weshould raise awareness of building the harmonious labor-capital relations, improvethe labor contract system, strengthen government’ management on labor-capitalrelations, and strengthen the role of grass-roots unions. Through these pathways, wecan build harmonious labor-capital relations in private enterprises of China.
