Researches On The Development Strategy Of JiangSu Science And Technology Service Industry

In today's knowledge-based times, the innovation of science and technology has become the important driving factor to promote the development of society and economy. The process of science and technology innovation is a social systemic engineering which is very complicated, and it needs the cooperation of all kinds of organizations in the innovation system and the innovation service system. However, the function of innovating service was exerted by the government in our country in the past. Accompanying with the transformation of the government managing function, the function of innovating service is gradually exerted by the intermediate service institutions of science and technology. How to promote the development of the innovating service system of science and technology is one of the key tasks to help to promote the development and the innovating capacity of the regional & national innovation system. The researches on the development strategy of JiangSu science and technology service industry are done combining with the social research item of JiangSu science and technology department—the Researches on Development Strategy of JiangSu Science and Technology Service Industry (BR2003019)—in this article.Firstly, the concept and the sphere of the service industry of science and technology are analyzed, and the major functions and types of its are discussed, and then the strategic meaning of developing it is analyzed. Secondly, the present developing situation of JiangSu science and technology service industry is analyzed, and so does the different kinds of institutions of its. The major problems existing in JiangSu science and technology service industry are also discussed in this article following the above. Thirdly, the opportunities and the threats existing outside and the strengths and weaknesses existing inside are both analyzed, on the basis of which the SWOT analysis and the demand analysis of JiangSu science and technology service industry are done. Accordingly, the objects and strategies of the development of JiangSu science and technology service industry are offered after knowing the guiding principle and thinking of developing it.
