The Study On The Chinese Corporate Culture's Inheritance Of Confucianism

In the 21^st century, the Chinese enterprises will face a huge challenge of the wave of globalization as well as many opportunities. Our enterprises will compete with the world-level international enterprises directly on the world market. We know from the practice experience that it is the corporate culture that can help our enterprises succeed in this intensified competition. The establishment of modern enterprises in China is relatively late which to some extent causes the immaturity of our corporate culture's construction. That is to say our construction of corporate culture is generally at its primary phase compared with that of western mature corporate culture. Thus, if we want to take root in the international market and occupy our own market share, we have to strengthen the corporate culture construction. However, while we want to establish our characteristic corporate culture, we should not disregard our country's traditional culture. Therefore, the construction of corporate culture must be radicated in the Chinese traditional culture, absorb fully the essence content of the culture, research the advanced western management principle and science, blend the Chinese culture and the west management science and then can we create strong,powerful and Chinese characteristic corporate culture.The Confucianism is the core contents of Chinese traditional culture. So, to get the essence content of Chinese culture is to look for treasure in the Confucianism. Whereas the Chinese enterprises are in need of the construction of corporate culture, this paper tries to re-examine the system of Confucianism with a historical view, to comb the internal content of Confucianism and to distinguish which element can contribute to our construction of corporate culture while which cannot under today's background. Through the above analysis, this paper is about to tell that it is the advanced moral idea which is the core content of Confucianism is still useful to Chinese modern enterprises, not the content which only agrees with its written age but not current time any more. So we should absorb selectively the advanced idea of Confucianism but not blindly and combine the advanced Chinese traditional idea with advanced western management idea and science to construct a kind of corporate culture that fits Chinese people's characteristic.
