Following the economical globalization, the multi-national companies in China are facing increasing challenges. Most successful multi-national companies believe that the competition of business will finally go to human resources' competition. Therefore, effective recruitment is not only the premise and basis of human resource management, but also an important competitive advantage of multi-national companies to guarantee continuable development in China. Applying the fundamental theory of human resource management, this thesis analyzes the current situation and existing problems during the process of recruitment in multi-national companies in China, and makes a comparatively comprehensive research on how to process an effective recruitment and raise practical suggestions.First of all, the thesis introduces the fundamental theory of human resource management and employee recruitment. Through analyzing the current situation and existing problems in recruitment processing of multi-national companies in China, the author points out that multi-national companies should adjust their recruitment strategy according to actual Chinese business environment, set up effective personnel planning and job analysis.The thesis analyzes the process of effective recruitment from three aspects: Firstly, multi-national companies should adjust their recruitment strategy to be in line with the Chinese business environment, set up corresponding recruitment standards and localization system. Secondly, following the localized recruitment strategy, multi-national companies should adjust recruitment channels and use different approaches to attract talents. Lastly, integration and retention system is crucial to ensure the result of an effective recruitment.The thesis also points out that strengthening corporate attractiveness is very important to a smooth and effective recruitment.Lastly, through the summarization of the research, the author points out that keeping on researching the effectiveness of recruitment and combining the business management characters of these multi-national companies can support a long-term development of them in China.
