Entrepreneur Characteristics, Entrepreneurship Environment

As the engine of economic growth, entrepreneurship activities have already been a focus from all the countries in the world, and entrepreneurship study is also a hot field intercrossed with other fields. In the research about which factor affect entrepreneurship success, entrepreneur characteristics and entrepreneurship environment are two factors arosed more discussion and controversy. Based on the generalization of the theories home and aboard , this paper brought forward eight hypotheses between entrepreneur characteristics and entrepreneurship success, enptrepreneurship environment and entrepreneurship success, then chose some new ventrures of representative industry from Qingdao and Shaoxing to do our questionnaire sunvey, at last we tested our theory model and hypotheses. From the study we know capital environment, education environment, market environment in entrepreneurship environment and creativity, locus of control, achievement motivation, risk-taking propensity in entrepreneur characteristics all have a significant effect on entrepreneurship success. In addition, the two areas not only have differences in capital environment and market environment but also in the entrepreneurship activities. In the aspect of motivation, the entrepreneurs from Qingdao are mainly affected by their former work, but the entrepreneurs from Shaoxing are mainly for their interest. After the discussion about the main results, we analyzed the deficiency of the study and had a view about future research.
