With the economy globalization and coming of the knowledge-based economy and the rapid development of the technological revolution represented by the internet information technology, the renewal pace of the knowledge and technology is largely accelerated. Under such a background, the domestic enterprises, especially the high-tech firms, attach more importance to the technological strength and the R&D staff. For technology firms, the R&D staff has become the key resources, and it is very necessary to establish a set of scientific, systematic and inspirational reward system for them.It is from this angle that this paper tries to design a reward system applicable to the R&D staff through the study to reward theories, reward systems and characters of R&D staff management.At the very beginning of the paper, the author summarizes the relevant literature, including the definition and trait of high-tech firms, the characteristics of R&D staff, the main problems of reward management in domestic enterprise, reward, the classic theories about human capital pricing, and the reference for reward management of R&D staff in domestic and foreign enterprises; then the author researches the design of reward system, attempting to bring human individual-capital pricing theory into R&D staff reward design. Finally, based on the research conclusion, the author takes high-tech firm HD as the example to do the positive research to the reward system design for R&D staff. The author analyses the current situation of the firm, then points out the main problems and gives suggestions to the material and spirit reward system and the salary structure of R&D staff in high-tech firms. |
