With the increase of economy and the development of free trade, the problem of environment is unfolded before us. It seems that free trade is the reason of deteriorated environment. According to the reason many countries began to set green trade barriers to import product. The green trade barriers bring different effects on industry competitive to developed countries and developing countries because their different development phases.This article introduce Oates model to analysis how the green trade barriers affect the cost of product, and introduce environment Kuznets curve to illustrate how green trade affect the diversity of product. The developed countries and developing countries lies on the different phrase of environment Kuznets curve and there is an income gap between these countries which make different fancies for the quality of environment between these persons. The fancy for the quality of environment has weakened the diversity advantage of developing countries'products and intensified the diversity advantage of developed countries'products.On basis of the theory, the article has analyzed what the effects of green trade barriers have brought to industry competitive of China by some instances. What's more, the article has constructed a modle to quantify the effect that the environmental norms brought to export of China's textiles and clothes. The results of the regress modle prove that the environmental norms have brought negative effect to export of China's textiles and clothes. At last, the article presented the policies and measures for government and enterprises to deal with the green trade barriers.
