| The paper firstly reviews the general researching situation of regional economy inside and outside china, including economics of location theory and regional economics development theory. Then the paper analyses present situation of economy development of Jiangbei district combining theories, and puts forward solutions.As a powerful industrial district of Chongqing, Jiangbei develops fast in recent years. It remains the first in the evaluation of"Ten Powerful Industrial Areas of Chongqing"per year from 2002 to 2004. At the same time, as the maintenance of Jiangbei, industry plays an extremely important role in the economic development. It is reported that more than 60% of the district gross production comes from the extra values of industry, and the district revenue , 50% to 60%.However, there are some problems and conflicts during the industrial development, as a result of the inadequate investment in the middle 90s, single industrial structure and unattractive investing policies. Besides, the area expansion of its traditional industrial development is seriously restrained, for the implementing of strategy----withdrawing the secondary industry and carrying forward the tertiary industry in the main city. Moreover, city construction makes many traditional industrial companies move away, which causes the industrial gross production to rapidly decline. Thus, Jiangbei falls to the seventh from the first in the evaluation of"Ten Powerful Industrial Areas of Chongqing"of 2005. The decline of industrial development reduces the district gross production and revenue, following with the severe challenge to Jiangbei's economy development in the future.Therefore, this dissertation is written from two respects including dynamic development and static coordinate development , in order to insure the stable development of Jiangbei on the policies and economy; at the same time ,it also considers the unstable factors during the development to adjust the economy and industry structure ,in order to adjust the whole industry structure in the future and adapt the needs of the whole economy development.After the survey on the present situation of economy development of Jiangbei and areas in the vicinity, as well as the whole analysis about the social structure ,population distribution ,and resources, etc, I conclude the problems ,opportunities and disadvantages Jiangbei are faced with. Therefore, I put forward some general suggestions and strategies for the development of Jiangbei in the recent future years, as well as some ideas about the industrial structure for the sustainable development of economy. In order to accelerate the process of the new industrialization , to advance Jiangbei's industrial economy to step forward and to realize its aim as a powerful economy district and a new urbanized areas, I write this dissertation based on my survey. |
