Under this background, it is of strategic significance to set up science parks in our country. Through arduous exploration, the development of Chinese science parks has gained some achievement. But overall, it's still in initial stages. There are many problems to be solved. At the same time, UK science parks have played an important role in advancing the competition of nation and region. Applying the theory of science parks, adopting criterion study and demonstration study, this article reviews the development of UK science parks. It includes the background of foundation, the actuality of development, the reason of different evaluation, and its successful factors. Then it chooses the Cambridge Science Park as case study. According the problems of Chinese science parks'development, it puts forward some advice. It concludes that the success of UK science parks lies in the clasp of government,corporation, university and supervisor. The obstruction of Chinese science parks is the confusion of the four partners'relationship. To adjust the relationship of them and get them collaborate closely will be useful for the development of Chinese science parks.
