The 21st century is leaded by the economy of knowledge; therefore high quality human resource is becoming one kind of strategy resources for an enterprise or a nation.Accompany with the knowledge economy, and with the spreading of theories related to human capital, human resources and studious organization, the development of human resources has been greatly valued by the enterprises and nations. Based on this, as a main channel to develop human resources, training management has becoming a newly important research field.Administration is a process of training, and training is one measure of administration. Modern administration must be fulfilled by training. Training is the main measure for the development of human resources and for the investment of human capital. Training is also an activity for an enterprise to gain, sustain, promote, and strengthen their competition, and it's an investment which outcome the best.In reality, training investment has its risk and limitation. Also, the objectives of training are special. Therefore, it's reasonable that there are only part of employees could get trained and it's important to set up the selective mechanisms. In this study, paper review and case study were used to discuss the selective mechanisms of employee training management. The selective model in the AKZO Company was studied as an example.On conclusion, how to select proper employees is one important part of training for an enterprise. It's a systematic program. The administrators should pay more attention to it and treat it in a scientific way. It should be established on the basis of"human management". Only with the use of"human management"and modern management theories, could the selective employee training management be alive and practical.
