Land price and land intensive use are hot questions of land research field recently in China. But systematic research which considers the interrelations between land price and land intensive use is still lacking. To study the interactive mechanism between urban land price and land intensive use deeply could be helpful to prefect the way of land intensive use, to ensure the rational land price of city, to promote healthy development of land market and rational use of land resources.Based on the analysis on the urban land-use pattern in Wu'an, this paper uses the qualitative and quantitative methods to research. It analyzes the regional differences, the spatial distribution and the time variation of different land prices by space analysis function of GIS. Meanwhile, it analyzes the land use in past years in Wu'an. In terms of the time analysis, the paper analyzes the overall changes of land intensive use from four aspects: land input intensity, land output intensity, land use intensity and land use sustainable degree. In terms of the space analysis, it appraises the land intensive use and further makes different use levels according to the evaluation standard.The research indicated that both the land price and the land intensive use degree in Wu'an rose continually with the passage of time, and that they both reduced gradually from the central area to edge on space. The correlation analyses indicated there was the higher correlation between them, especially for the commercial and residential land prices correlated highly with the land intensive use degree, which showed the higher linear relation fitted by the equation. The further analyses the correlations were mainly impacted by the factors such as economy, location and urban land scarce. With these common factors, the rational land prices could optimize the urban land layout, and guide the optimization allocation of land resources, and improve the land use degree, to improve the land-use degree properly can ease the contradiction between land supply and demand in China and promote the healthy development of land market to some extent.
