As a major part of logistics chain, International Freight Forwarder is playing an important role in the process of economic globalization. Competition in this industry becomes heater due to higher profit on lower investment. With China opening her forwarder market to foreign capital, overseas logistics giants have joined this competition by their strengths on management, capital and network.T-Logistics Co., a major player, once the leader of this market recently, develops slowly, even left behind by competitor by changes of outside surroundings and itself. T-Logistics is eager to solve external and internal problems before the well-expected market.This dissertation is conducted by theories of General Management, Logistics Management, Strategic Management and Marketing, and according to the present situation of T-Logistics. It introduces general conception, development and brief operation processes of forwarding business, as well as analyses on model of profit making, illustrates consolidation, and volume weight absorbing with examples.After market analyses, discussion with other forwarders, this dissertation evaluates some key indexes on forwarders in local market. To avoid the absolute strengths of local and global forwarders, find out own ones and locate market positioning, that is, looking for customers, who have China related import and export air freight business, higher requirement on capabilities of global networks and local operation, and need for multiple parts of logistics chain service.By SWOT, analyze external surroundings and internal capabilities with opportunities, threats, strengths and weakness, list related 28 factors like economic tending to be better, frequent changing of business surrounding, succedaneum sharing the market, and explained them in details. With above analyses and market positioning, get T-Logistics' strategy of development on air freight forwarding business as: Aiming medium and high end customers, launching competitive forwarding products continuously, lowering cost, achieving 20% more margin profit annually. This dissertation recognizes the heating competition on homogenization. T-Logistics must act follows to get out of present situation for further development: 1. Lowering cost continuously; 2. Launching competitive differentiated products continuously.
