The past few years witnesses the new achievements of our economy, which is particularly shown in the rapid speed of development and presents a good tendency of unifying structure, quality, efficiency and speed。However, some new problems in economical operation also appear, such as energy consumption, environment pollution, a large trade surplus, imbalance of developments in different regions, serious employment contradiction。Among many reasons causing these problems, the unreasonable industrial structure is an important one。The report at 17th Party Congress pointed out that it was an urgent and momentous strategic mission for national economy to accelerate transformation of the mode of economic development and to promote upgrading of the industrial structure。In order to maintain the sustainable, healthy and stable development of our economy, there is an need to develop rapidly electrical information industry, biological engineering, new materials, new energy, aerospace and so on, to wash out those low-competition and low-efficiency industries gradually, to push upgrading of the industrial structure and to promote healthy and harmonious development of the primary industry, the secondary, and the tertiary。Currently , employment pressure generally increases in China , and employment competition becomes intense day by day。The employment situation of postgraduates, as higher-grade talented persons, is not so optimistic。Shanghai, the economic center of China and a modern cosmopolis, confronts the gradual adjustment and upgrading of industrial structure, the gradual shrinking of the primary industry, transformation of the secondary industry from a labor-intensive one to a capital-intensive, and rapid development of the tertiary-industry(especially modern service industry), all of which will necessarily affect the employment of postgraduates。Because of the long-term influence of the adjustments of industrial structure on postgraduates' employment, the paper, as a bold attempt including its subject, angle of research and research approaches, makes beneficial explorations on the problem of postgraduates' employment under the adjustments of industrial structure in Shanghai, based on selected materials and the analysis of them.。In short , although the paper makes an attempting investigation on postgraduates' employment under the adjustment of industrial structure, its structure and discourse still need to be improved further because of my limited knowledge and insufficient materials。I will be indebted to every expert for their suggestions and corrections。...
