A Study On The Exhibition Environment Of Shanghai Everbright Convention & Exhibition Center

As the rapid development of the MICE industry, the convention center which is the important carrier of holding an exhibition, has also attached great importance. At present, there are altogether more than 8 million exhibition areas among 200 exhibition centers all over china, but its average rent rate is only 15%. This reflects that construction of exhibition centers in China has been overheated. The blind construction results in the waste of resourses, unperfect layout, and fiece competition among Exhibition Centers as also.However, which kind of convention center is needed in the moredern MICE Industry? What's the expectation and requirement of the participators in MICE Industry for the convention center's exhibition environment? In order to solve these questions, this thesis studies the exhibition environment of Shanghai Everbright Convention&Exhibition Center from the exhibitor's angle and on the basis of qualitative and quantative analysis. The main task of this paper is to explore the constituent of the exhibition environment, to evaluate the exhibition environment of Shanghai Everbright Convention&Exhibition Center, and to bring forword some countermeasures and advice to optimize the current exhibition environment. It is our hope that this paper can provide useful refrence and consideration for optimizing the exhibition environment of the similar convention center, the newly-built convention center and the whole city as well.The most important content is as follow:Firstly, explore the meaning of exhibition environment on the basis of correlational theory; and analysis the constituents of exhibition environment according to quantative analysis.Secondly, using the IPA Analysis, evaluates the advantage and disadvantage of the Convention Center's exhibition environment according to exhibitors' importance and satisfaction evaluates on the exhibition environment of Shanghai Everbright Convention & Exhibition CenterFinally, aiming at all the advantages and problems, the thesis raises countermeasures and advice to optimize the current exhibition environment.
