Research On Operation Problems And Countermeasures Of Chengdu New International Convention And Exhibition Center

With the development of the economy and the frequent forms of global trade,exhibition industry is accelerating its unique value in the economic field and life field at a rapid rate.As the carrier of the exhibition activities,the exhibition venues are also the premise and basis for the development of the exhibition industry.The operation of the exhibition hall is measured by economic benefits and utilization rate of the exhibition hall.Although the development of China's exhibition industry is fast,the theoretical research is relatively backward.The research on operation management of the exhibition hall is completely behind the speed of the construction of the exhibition hall.The problems existing in the operation of the exhibition hall have seriously restricted the overall development trend of the exhibition industry,and it is difficult to meet the unity of economic and social utility.The operation mode of the exhibition hall is different due to its nature and policy impact.Therefore,it is particularly important to conduct systematic analysis on a single exhibition hall,which can provide theoretical basis for the operation of existing exhibition halls.Chengdu New International Convention and Exhibition Center is selected as the research object.The exhibition hall was established in 2005 and has been in operation for 14 years.It has entered a mature and tired period in operation.And with the increasing types of projects undertaken,the problems exposed are gradually obvious.At the same time,due to the participation of competitors,the status of large-scale exhibition halls has dropped to large and medium-sized exhibition halls,and the competition situation has become increasingly clear.The author chooses this exhibition hall for research,use its own advantages to determine the future development direction,and through the statistical analysis of data neglected problems,so as to put forward strong enforcement countermeasures.This article uses a chapter-type structure system for analysis.Beginning with the Basics(Chapter 1: Introduction),expounds the research background and significance of this paper,research status of exhibition halls at home and abroad,and the research ideas,framework and methods of this paper.Secondly,through the theoretical chapter(Chapter 2 Concept Definition and Theoretical Basis).The theoretical concepts of the thesis are summarized,including the contents of exhibition,exhibition hall and strategic management,human resource management and operation management theory.Followed by analysis(Chapter 3: Overview of Chengdu New International Convention and Exhibition Center and Operation Status).First,introduce the overall situation of Chengdu New International Convention and Exhibition Center,and then conduct an individual analysis of the current existing business of Chengdu New International Convention and Exhibition Center,and finally this paper introduces the operation environment of Chengdu New International Convention and Exhibition Center in detail by SWOT analysis,PEST analysis and five forces model.And the application(Chapter 4: Problems arising from the operation and management of Chengdu New International Convention and Exhibition Center,Chapter 5: Analysis of the reasons for the operation and management of Chengdu New International Convention and Exhibition Center,Chapter 6: Operation and Management of Chengdu New International Convention and Exhibition Center).Based on the analysis of previous chapters,put forward the problems faced by the operation,the causes of the problems and the countermeasures.The final summary(Chapter7: Summary and Conclusion).This paper summarizes the research of Chengdu New International Convention and Exhibition Center,proposes the shortcomings in the research and points out the future research direction.Based on the basic concept and theoretical analysis,combined with practical work and questionnaire survey,this paper focuses on the overall situation of Chengdu New International Convention and Exhibition Center,and analyzes the current business of Chengdu New International Convention and Exhibition Center.Through the study of business status,the following conclusions are drawn on the existing problems:(1)Low overall professionalism;(2)Backward operation management concepts;(3)Low utilization rate of exhibition hall;(4)Prominent marketing problems;(5)Obvious competitive pressure;(6)Lax multi-party supervision.The reasons for the above problems are:(1)Imperfect management system;(2)The target market and positioning are vague;(3)Backward standardization construction of exhibition industry;In view of the above problems,this paper makes a detailed analysis of the operation environment of Chengdu New International Convention and exhibition center through SWOT,PEST and five force model,and puts forward the operation and implementation strategies according to the causes of existing problems and the actual situation of the research object:(1)Improve the internal management mechanism;(2)Formulate the internal service standard system;(3)Subdivide the target market;(4)Change the business positioning;(5)Play the role of industry associations.
