| Construction land is the foundation of social and economic development. During the process of urbanization and industrialization in our country, it is necessary to carry out intensive land use which can realize the sustainable development of land. Taking Fujian province as an example, this paper first summarized related theories about cities and research methods in the domestic and oversea, then evaluated and analyzed the intensive use of construction land in the macroscopic point of view: (1)Set up the evaluation index system of the intensive use of construction land, and adopted the principal components analysis method to analyse the dynamic change of the construction land intensive use from 1996 to 2005.The results showed that the degree of intensive use increased year by year. (2) Classified nine cities by the method of fuzzy clustering; used the coordinate model and multivariate analysis method in the evaluation of the construction land intensive use, the results showed that the grades of cities in three styles are comparatively intensive, less intensive and extensive; (3) compared the influence factors in typical cities; then divided the construction land intensive use in Fujian province into three levels, and provided an in-depth analysis of the superiority and inferiority of every level. Finally, put forward the related measures and suggestions to promote the intensive use of construction land in Fujian province, according to the problems which were reflected in evaluation. |
