Variety and diversity of globalization, information and market demand make the competition between enterprises more and more fierce . At present, a lot of research and practice indicate that enterprises must focus on the human resources in order to win the game. But the environment outside and the change of management inside make the traditional system hard to meet the manpower requirement of the enterprises. In this background, some scholars have put forward the concept of competency. Meanwhile, the recruitment result in most enterprises is not satisfied. In view of this, both of the scholars and the HR professionals begin to explore the new recruitment mode so as to improve the recruitment system and meet the manpower requirement.The thesis starts with the background and the two problems of the recruitment and analyzes the reason for choosing the topic of the thesis. The competence and competence model are composed of three parts: the concept of competence & competence model and the set-up of it. The introduction of competency includes the definition, the characters and classifications. How to set up the competency model and what issues should be noticed are discussed afterwards. Then the thesis focuses on the use of competence model in the recruitment system. The innovation of the thesis lies in the basic structure and process of the recruitment system based on the competence model. The thesis has also concretely introduced the conceptual behavioral interview through a case study. Finally, the resolution and proposal are put up for the use of competence model in the recruitment system.
