With the development of building industry, automobile industry and IT, the glass industry also develop fast. There is only one glass industry is on the list of 2006 China information 500 top enterprise addressed in February this year. The glass industry is on the stage of popularization and there is almost no ERP typical case, so this paper takes ERP implementation of glass industry as the object of study.Based on the study of the existing typical ERP implementation methodology, this paper gives the enterprise-oriented ERP implementation model, so that can really play the main role in making ERP system performance to the maximum level. This paper also present the client-oriented ERP implementation methodology based on the SECI model on the bases of study on relevant theories of knowledge transfer.There is a glass company as my concrete example which proves this ERP implementation methodology to be validated. Facts prove that the ERP implementation modalities integrated of knowledge transfer is easier access to the success for enterprises. At the end, this paper sums up the key successful factors of ERP implementation of glass industry.Finally, according to personal opinion, there are some suggestions for the glass industry ERP implementation.
