The Research On The Evaluation Of Training Effect In Hotels

The evaluation of training effect is a key link in the training system in hotels. Nowadays most hotels haven't built a comprehensive system of the evaluation of training effect. The limited evaluating indexes and simple training methods have lead to an ineffective training result.This thesis conducts a deep study of the progress and fruit of the evaluation of training effect done by professionals within our country and abroad. With the knowledge of the Kirkpatrick Model, it builds a 3-layers index according to the features of hotel industry, sets up the procedure and the specific method. And then it calculates each index weight, uses comprehensive and systematic analysis to the evaluation of training to generate the evaluation report.On the part of practicing, this thesis chooses the training program called "Know Our Partners Though the Partners program" held by Shenzhen OCT Intercontinental Hotel. Through various ways, with the use of comprehensive and systematic analysis, it finally reached into a conclusion which reveals the satisfying result of this training program.The research model analysis and the case study all prove the adaptability and the realism for comprehensive and systematic analysis method to be used to evaluate the training effect in hotels. Hope it can have some reference value for other people to conduct such research.
