An Study On The Chinese Agricultural Exports To Japan Based On The Positive List System

This paper summarizes the recent friction of some of the specific incidents and new trends in Sino-Japanese trade of agricultural products,as a guide,will focus on analyzing the positive list system introduced deep-seated reasons for China's agricultural exports and the impact of Japan.On the basis of the initial proposed positive list system response. This is China's agricultural industry to circumvent positive list system , development of export-oriented economy has important theoretical and practical significance.This paper has five parts.The first part is the introduction,including this paper's research background and significance of literature review and research methods.The second part is basic theory. In the theoretical analysis section,the paper discusses the theories of trade protection and green trade protection. Based on the background and factors,the paper gives the defination of green barrier. And the paper analyzes the impacts of green trade barrier,and green tariff on the trade and social welfare. Finally,the positive list system was introduced.The third and fouth part are the situation of the Chinese agricultural exports to Japan, analysis in the form of Chinese exports to Japan and the characteristics and the existing problems,the influence analysis of positive list system. Tea exports to Japan as an example, empirical analysis in 2006 after the implementation of the positive list system and the impact of the system of China's agricultural exports to Japan. Results from the analysis showed that, the positive list system will not only reduce the number of agricultural products of China's exports to Japan,also lead to increased production costs,and ultimately weaken China's export of agricultural products of comparative advantage.Based on the theoretical and empirical analysis,under the protection of trade theory as the basis,make use of relevant empirical models and game model,the paper discuss the deep-seated causes of the positive list system. From the one hand,the implementation of Japan's agricultural system is certainly because of their quality and pollution problems,is not directed against any country. On the other hand,it is for the trade protection,in order to protect their domestic agriculture.Finally,according to the results of earlier studies,the paper supplies the proactive measures for the positive list system. It provides trade strategy according to trade protection, and it provides production suggestions according to environmental reasons.
