This paper is a practice reflection of the graduate design works of The image design of forest certification in China. It faithfully recorded the procedures and ideas of designing. The designer experienced the periods of conceiving, painting the drafts, determining the final productions. And also worked from the logo design, supporting graphics, text, graphics and presentation style to finally completed the series of application design of business cards, desk calendar, gift box and so on. All the designing was completed around the key points of forest, China and sustainable management . During the time, there had been many ideas, attempts, but always pay attention to the same design style, the Chinese spirit, the artistic conception . And the designing works were put in a large number of ink strokes and other Chinese elements and symbols. And the principle was kept that form services to the content by using ink strokes to create a link imaging between rings ,trees and forests to deepen the theme of forest certification.The designer tried to create images by using the ink strokes or convey information by combining the ink stokes with photographic to create a new graphic. Hope that the common of forest certification was showed and at the same time conveyed the characteristics of China.
