As the largest hydropower listed company and the leading Corporation in hydropower industry, relying on Three Gorges Project and the rolling development of waterpower resources in the upper stream of the Yangtze River, China Yangtze Power Company makes great efforts to establish the first-class plant and build the first-class listed company. Human resources is an important part to achieve this object. How to stimulate the initiative and creativity of the staff effectively to get a two to win situation for both employees and enterprise? Firstly, it is important issue that we must face .Secondly ,the establishment of an effective incentive system will set a model for other enterprises and compose the replicable management system. Finally, the provision of new theories and methods of incentive mechanism for improvement of innovation help enterprises retaining qualified personnel and making good use of them. Enterprises can rationally allocate the human resources to provide a long-term development of manpower by an incentive mechanism for the improvement and implementation ,that enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness, enhance the market competitiveness, and promote the sustainable development of enterprises.Firstly, this paper would introduce the background and significance, the main content and its frame. Secondly, there would be the description on domestic and foreign theories about this topic, which is divided into the content type ,the course type and the behavior rebuilding type. The description would indicate how important the theories are on the establishment and improvement of prompting system. Thirdly, according to the result of the questionnaire and interview, the analysis would be made about the actual prompting system in China Yangtze Power Company, through these, we can find that the reward is the most mainly method to inspire its staff, as well as the job and development encouragement. The paper indicates 4 factors as purpose, requirement, principal and the basic method to improve the prompting system of CYPC. We should construct the prompting system from 6 ways, including the reward system in reason, improving performance evaluation system, the job and development encouragement, the corporate culture encouragement ,education encouragement and constructing prompting mechanism in system.
