Travel behavior is the psychological process, psychological feature, and the presentation of behavior reflected by tourists during recognizing, purchasing, consuming, and evaluating tourism products. The earliest study on Travel behavior can be ascended to"the movement and expenditure by foreigners in Italy"by L.Bodio of Statistic Bureau of Italy Government. At present, the domestic travel market competition is intense. So to discover and to develop the new tourism consumption community has already become a key point increasingly, which catches hold of the tourism public's attention.Women are major income-maker and important participants of consuming decision-making in families, and their tour expending and consumer behaviors have significant influences to tour consuming in our country consequently. With the increasing improvement of women's positions in China's social life, the number of female tourists keeps climbing up, and forms own market gradually. However, very few researches on female travel behavior in cities have been done in existing research literature at present. Travel behavior is a specific consumer behavior. By carrying out the study on such a group of people's consumer motivation and behavior models, it will help to find out the best fit point of the benefit among the tourists, the owners of tour resources and it's the operators. Therefore, the research to our country's travel behavior of female groups. Which not only can benefit to guiding the tourism needs and wants effectively,but also help in tourism product development and provide theoretical and practical supporting to the tourism enterprises. It also has an important practical malue on elpanding domestic tour market.This article take Xi'an as an example, on the spot in questionnaire survey foundation, with the aid of geography, economic, psychology and so on related scientific theory. To the disparity in age, the different education level, the different income, the different family structure's female, have a empirical research on travel behavior from the traveling motive, the traveling preference, the traveling way, and the consumer behavior. Unifies the above analysis, put forward the constructive proposal to tourist business's marketing method.
